Precautions for Safe Handling:
Appropriate personal protective equipment should be used at all times. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid formation of dust and aerosols. Further processing of solid materials may result in the formation of combustible dusts. The potential for combustible dust formation should be taken into consideration before additional processing occurs. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Appropriate personal protective equipment should be used at all times.
Conditions for Safe Storage:
Store in a dry and sealed pouch or under inert atmosphere. Avoid moisture. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition. Avoid contamination with incompatible materials. Storage class (TRGS 510): 4.1B: Flammable solid hazardous materials

Standard Sublimed Sulfur electrode sheets are cast single-side on 5 inch x 10 inch sheets of aluminum, with 70% Sulfur (active material), 10% PVDF (binder), 20% Carbon Black (conductive carbon).

Can any of the tape specifications be modified?
Yes, we can modify the active material loading, coating thickness, binder type (aqueous/non-aqueous), and binder content, as well as choice of current collector (additional fees may apply).

Do you provide any additional materials or compositions not listed?
If you are looking for a particular material or composition not found in our list of products, we may be able to make it for you. As a Specialty Materials company, NEI specializes in producing non-commodity cathode, anode, and solid electrolyte battery materials with compositions and powder morphologies that are not readily readily found in the market.
Can I have a free sample to see if it works for my application?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide free samples for a number of reasons.
What is the minimum quantity order for your electrode sheets?
The minimum order quantity is 2 sheets per material composition and specification.
How can I place an order?
NEI sells and ships it’s battery materials directly from Somerset, NJ. We accept company and university purchase orders, or we can provide you with an order form. We can also accept orders through third-party buyers. For customers in Korea or Japan, we will put you in touch with our respective representative in your country, and you can place an order directly through them.
What kinds of payments do you accept?
NEI accepts several forms of payment:

- International – Wire transfer, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Credit Cards

What are your payment terms?
