Lithium Manganese Oxide (LMO) Tapes

Lithium Manganese Oxide (LiMn2O4) is a cathode material with a spinel structure, which allows the material to be discharged at high rates. LMO-based batteries are most suited for use in high rate applications.

NANOMYTE® BE-30E and BE-35E are cast electrode tapes of NEI’s LMO (LiMn2O4) powders. Our standard tape is cast on a 5 inch x 10 inch sheet of aluminum foil and coated on one side with an 80% active material loading. Our tapes can also be customized to accommodate different active material loadings, coating thickness, binder type (aqueous/non-aqueous), and binder content, as well as choice of current collector.

Our LMO materials are also available in powder form.

NANOMYTE® BE-30E

  • LiMn2O4 powder cast on aluminum sheets
  • Nominal Voltage vs. Li/Li+: 4.0V
  • Nominal Capacity at 0.1C: ≥ 110 mAh/g
  • Standard Sheet Size: 5 in x 10 in (12.7 cm x 25.4 cm)
  • Typical Active Loading: *6 – 7 mg/cm2
  • Tape Thickness: *25 – 40 μm

NANOMYTE® BE-35E

  • LiMn2O4 powder cast on aluminum sheets
  • Nominal Voltage vs. Li/Li+: 4.0V
  • Nominal Capacity at 0.1C: ≥ 110 mAh/g
  • Standard Sheet Size: 5 in x 10 in (12.7 cm x 25.4 cm)
  • Typical Active Loading: *5 – 7 mg/cm2
  • Tape Thickness: *25 – 40 μm
