Senior Battery Materials Engineer or Scientist
Role Overview

We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of battery electrodes to help us push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manufacture cutting-edge battery electrodes, including traditional and next-generation active materials for lithium, sodium, or zinc-ion batteries.
- Work hands-on with advanced materials, from powders and slurries to coatings.
- Fabricate and test pouch and coin cells to evaluate performance.
- Characterize powders, films, and dispersions using standard laboratory equipment.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in battery electrode development, including powder processing, slurry preparation, and coating techniques.
- Strong knowledge of electrochemistry and wet or solid-state chemistry.
- Expertise in characterization techniques for powders, films, and dispersions.
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented, creative mindset.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field such as Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science and Engineering.
- A minimum of two to five years of industrial experience in the chemical or materials industry is preferred

Role Overview
We’re seeking a full-time remote consultant with a background in materials science or chemical engineering to help expand our portfolio of products and services into adjacent or emerging markets.
This is a strategic and technical role involving:
- Market development and opportunity identification
- Technical evaluation of new product pathways
- Support for contract R&D and government-funded programs
- Client engagement and proposal generation
Ideal Background
We welcome candidates with the following:
- Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering (BS, MS, or PhD)
- Hands-on R&D or product development experience
- Experience with government or industry-funded projects
- Ability to bridge technical innovation with market application
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
Preferred (but not required):
