Custom Battery Materials Development
NEI Corporation works with companies to produce customized electrode materials for lithium batteries. Our ability to tailor materials has resulted in improved battery performance for our customers. We have manufacturing capabilities in place to produce your custom material in kilogram to ton quantities.

Custom Battery Materials Development Process
The simplified engagement process starts with execution of a mutual confidentiality agreement to preserve your intellectual property. Your proprietary materials formulations and specifications are kept in the strictest confidence.

Next, we will review your material composition requirements to ensure that we can produce to your specifications. We will then create a quote detailing product specification, amount to be produced, material quality specifications, delivery schedule, and cost.

Upon receipt of your Purchase Order we will manufacture as agreed. We will work with you and go through as many synthesis iterations as required to hone in on the optimum powder characteristics. Also, for large orders we may mutually agree to produce an initial limited quantity for you to test prior to completing the remainder of your request.

Quantities
You can order as little as one kilogram or as much as a ton or more. No long term contract is required. We can satisfy your requirements for a single shipment or for a predictable monthly/quarterly volume. In addition, we are pleased to discuss longer term guaranteed volume and pricing agreements on a case by case basis.

High Volume Battery Material Manufacturing & Facilities

NEI Corporation can provide efficient, high volume manufacturing of your battery materials. NEI has two state-of-the-art materials manufacturing facilities, located in Somerset, NJ and Kolkata, India. Our facility in Somerset, NJ can produce up to 1,000 kilograms, and our Kolkata plant can produce up to 10 tons/month. The latter is a joint venture operation with the United Group, a diversified business operation based in Kolkata, India.
