Hardcoat SR-100 fulfills the need for abrasion or scratch resistant coatings on plastic substrates. A ceramic-like hard surface is needed in a variety of industrial and consumer applications such as, ophthalmic and sports-wear lenses, automobile and airplane windows. Hardcoat SR-100 is a liquid and can be applied on surfaces using standard coating processes, including dip-coating, spray coating and spin-coating.

Nanomyte® PT-15 makes an excellent paint base for corrosion protection of Mg-Al magnesium alloys, such as the most common AZ91 alloys.

Pretreatment of magnesium alloys with Nanomyte® PT-15 results in a chemical conversion coating that is nano-structured and is crack-free. The excellent adhesion between the substrate and a primer is due to the nano-structure and crack-free morphology of the coating. Negligible dimensional loss is resulted from the treatment. In addition, the bath is chromate-free and environmentally benign.

The Nanomyte® PT-15 is provided in a 1 liter can, as a pre-mixed concentrate that is diluted at time of use with 19 liters of water. This will produce solution for a 20-liter immersion bath. The complete process will require the standard cleaning procedure, i.e., alkaline cleaning and acid pickling.

Nanomyte® PT-30 is a chromate-free, environmentally benign chemical pretreatment bath for developing conversion coatings for copper alloys. The coating provides corrosion protection of copper alloys in recycled water. Enhanced corrosion protection is obtained when a sealer is applied onto the conversion coating.

The Nanomyte® PT-30 is provided in a 1 gallon pail, as a pre-mixed concentrate that is diluted at time of use with 3 gallons of water. This will produce solution for a 4-gallon immersion bath.
